Tours

How long does the tour last?
The tour typically lasts an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes. Tours that include brunch are up to 2 hours. 

Do we have to have a reservation to get on a tour?
Yes, reservations are required to go on a tour. Book here!

How far in advance do you need a reservation?
When you know what day you’d like to visit, book online because the earlier the better. We love to know 2 days in advance to prepare for your visit. We typically only make reservations 6 months out. 

How much does it cost?
The tour costs $10 for Adults and Kids. Children 2 and under are free. Brunch prices range from $15-20 for kids and adults. 

What will we see?
Visitors will see our barn, fields, chicken coop- collecting eggs, and spend time feeding goats, sheep, and 
poultry. Fresh eggs are sold by the dozen. 

Can children come?
Children are welcome but must be supervised by a parent at all times. Warning: there is a zero tolerance for chasing or aggravating the animals. 

Is the tour handicap friendly?
This tour is a walking tour that covers about a quarter of a mile. The entire tour is on a paved road, and there is shade along the way.

When do you have tours?
We have tours daily, Monday - Saturday at 8:30 AM.

How do I make a reservation?
For either time, you can use our booking page or give us a call at (864)940-3623 or email jacksonpinefarm@gmail.com.

Is there a farmer's market?
Yes, there is a market that features a selection of handmade items from our local businesses and e-commerce vendors. We also plan to partner with local farmers to bring in fresh seasonal produce daily. Visitors have the chance to check it before or after the tour, depending on time. Its hours are 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM. It is also online at jacksonpinefarm.com/market.

Where do I go once I get to the farm?
Once you arrive at the main gate, please pull down the drive and check in for your tour at the Visitor Center. If the parking is full by the Visitor Center, your guide will direct you where to park.

Can you provide directions to the farm?
Please use this google maps link​ to get directions to our 
farm from your location. Our address is 11 Maddox Bridge Road Donalds, SC 29638.

Can I request to help groom or volunteer?
Absolutely. Please request current volunteering opportunities via email. Depending on ages of children, there may be less or more hands-on activities. 

Do you require a waiver for tours?

We do require you to sign a liability waiver for all participants visiting our farm. You can print and sign it at your convenience or we have them printed for you at the farm. 

Where do we go when we arrive?

When you arrive, park in the circle drive and then walk around the wrap around porch and come to the front door (not on the side where parking is). 

Your times don’t work for me. Can I come another time? 
Since JPF is a working farm and our business is ran on a schedule with so many other things- blogs, podcast, market, etc., we cannot offer any other times outside of our normal morning tours. 

Can we picnic at the farm?
We plan to make a garden space for picnicking real soon!

Do you accept a tip?
If you would like to tip, our family and animals would be ever so grateful!

Is there a restroom?
Yes. Inside our farmhouse, we have a restroom. 

We don’t need a guided tour. Can we just come walk around?
Since JPF is a working farm, we cannot allow visitors on the farm without a reservation for a tour. You must have a reservation in advance to tour the farm.

Do you all accept special groups?
We do our best to accommodate all sizes of groups! Our standard tour is typically capped at 30 people. Please let us know as far in advance as possible, no less than a week.
